Xbox Series X Black Friday deals are going to be in very high demand over the course of November, so we're on hand to find you some of the best ones in the year's busiest sales event. Alright, so Xbox Series X pre-orders were snapped up on day one (as were PS5 pre-orders). But we're holding out hope that Microsoft will be offering more on release day. As we mentioned in our Xbox Series X review, it's worth the wait.

  • US Xbox Series X retailers: Amazon | Best Buy | Microsoft | Newegg
  • US Xbox Series S retailers: Amazon | Best Buy | Microsoft
  • UK Xbox Series X retailers: Amazon | Very | Microsoft| Currys | AO | Box
  • UK Xbox Series S retailers: Amazon | Very | Microsoft | Currys | AO | Box

The Xbox Series X is due to launch on November 10, with Black Friday following a few weeks later on November 27. That's not a major gap and in all honesty, these things are going to sell themselves, so there's not much need for retailers to discount them at all. But they do of course want you to buy it from them rather than a rival store, so there's every chance they might offer a discounted game with it, or offer particular bundles in order to tempt your business. Surely it'll be better than the pre-order phase where any slight stock appearances caused sites to break as everyone hammered them at the same time trying to get the console into their digital baskets?

The less powerful, but far cheaper Xbox Series S has sold out now too, but it took a few days rather than minutes to sell out. Clearly, most early adopters want the full next-gen experience. Black Friday is a wider audience though and we think the Series S will be a popular pick on the day if stock appears. You can also be sure lots of kids have underlined the X as much as possible on their Christmas lists too. Better get practicing your best 'Thanks, I hate it' smile.

Outside of the consoles, this Black Friday season (which has basically started already this year, folks), we're going to be keeping an eye out for deals on a range of accessories and games for your new console too. We expect many of the models found on our best Xbox Series X headsets guide to get discounts and also official controllers and great third-party options like the best Razer controllers too. Xbox Live Gold prices and Xbox Game Pass deals are always a big hit for Black Friday too.

First up in our Xbox Series X Black Friday deals guide, we've listed the retailers most likely to get Xbox Series X and S pre-order stock in again if you're yet to secure a console. They're sold out at the time of writing, but it's very much worth checking in on a regular basis in-case you get lucky. If you're a bit on the fence, you might want to check out our best PS5 Black Friday deals guide too.

After the consoles, we've started listing the latest prices on a range of the best Xbox Series X accessories. We'll have even more options for you soon, so keep checking in and we'll take you through all the best Xbox Series X Black Friday deals.

Black Friday Xbox Series X deals - consoles

Now that the Xbox Series X is here, we're hoping to see more offers popping up as we approach Black Friday. Because you'll need to be fast to secure a console, we've listed all the retailers most likely to get stock in again below. Good luck!

Bundle

As the biggest kid on the retailer block, Amazon is likely to get more stock in for Xbox Series X. But there's a downside. Because it's the go-to destination for most shoppers, competition will be fierce. That means you'll need to be quick, so keep refreshing the page every now and then and be ready to pounce if more consoles become available.

We'd also recommend having a few alternatives up your sleeve. As it happens, we've got a couple below...

Xbox Series X | $499.99 at Microsoft

If in doubt, go straight to the source. In a turn of events that will surprise precisely no-one, Microsoft has been one of the most consistent when it comes to Xbox Series X stock. It's also likely to get more in before everyone else, so keep an eye out.

Plus, we've spotted a few bundles via their official store. If you want an extra controller to go with your console, this is a good way to get it.

Xbox Series X | $499.99 at Best Buy

As one of the biggest retailers in the country, Best Buy is a good bet for stock when it comes to the Xbox Series X. It's a shopping mainstay, and that means it's sure to get lots of the console in.

What's more, it has the option of in-store pickups as well. That makes it a real contender, and one to consider if you don't think you'll be home for delivery of your next-gen console.

Xbox Series X | $499.99 at B&H Photo

While it's an unusual choice of retailer for Xbox Series X deals, that may actually work in your favor. You see, other shoppers might not think to look there, giving you an advantage when it comes to securing your own console.

That said, we don't expect B&H Photo to have much stock. That means you'll need to move fast to ensure you don't miss out.

Xbox Series X | £449.99 at Amazon

Amazon is always a solid bet when it comes to console deals, and we don't expect it to disappoint with the Xbox Series X. Well, when it gets more stock, that is. The retail giant has been struggling to get more Xbox Series X in, so it's worth checking back every now and then to see if any offers are available.

As ever, you'll need to be very quick to secure them - we suspect more than a few people will be camping on the listing page to see if pre-orders come back into stock.

Xbox Series X | £449.99 Microsoft

For the best chance of an Xbox Series X pre-order, we'd suggest Microsoft. It was the most reliable source of deals when pre-orders started, and stock lasted the longest there as well.

With that in mind, we expect its online store to get more stock in ahead of the November 10 release date. After all, this is the company behind the machine. If anyone is going to get more consoles ahead of launch, surely it'll be Microsoft.

Xbox Series X | £449.99 Currys PC World Currys is a good choice when it comes to Xbox Series X pre-orders. Thanks to its size and presence on the UK high street, it's likely to get more stock in before the November 10 launch date.

That's in spite of the pandemic, too. It consistently offered deals throughout the Covid-19 lockdown on rare items like the Nintendo Switch, a console few other retailers seemed able to secure.

Xbox Series X | £449 at John Lewis John Lewis may not be the first retailer you think of when it comes to Xbox Series X, but it's definitely one to keep in mind. It offers a two year warranty as standard on electronics, whereas most retailers only provide one. That makes it a real winner in our books, especially because new consoles can be so unpredictable.

A word of caution, though. Surprisingly, the store wasn't well stocked with PS5s when pre-orders for that console started, so it might be missing some Xbox Series X deals too.

Xbox Series X | £449.99 at Argos As another mainstay of the UK high street, Argos is going to be a retailer that's probably going to get more Xbox Series X stock on launch day and beyond.

However, as with every other retailer here, expect there to be fierce competition for new consoles hitting shelves. You'll need to be very quick to get your hands on any stock that comes in.

Xbox Series X | £449.99 at Game Of all the retailers we've seen so far, Game is one of the few to offer actual bundles. For instance, you can currently pick up the system by itself or pair it with a variety of accessories. Namely, you can get the Series X with a New Play and Charge Kit for £469.98, a Series X with a Turtle Beach Stealth 600X for £519.98, or a Series X with an extra controller for £504.98. Namely, you can get the console and a controller in Black, Blue, or White. You're also able to get a console, a controller in Black, and a New Play and Charge Kit together for £524.97 (though if you'd prefer, Blue and White controller variants are available).

If you'd rather get a game to go with your console, you can pick up the Series X with Assassin's Creed Valhalla for £507.98.

Cyberpunk 2077| $59.99 $49.94 at Amazon

The free upgrade to the Series X version might not be coming until next year, but we think this red hot price is too good to pass up. This deal is even better when you consider the game isn't even out on current-gen platforms yet.

The latest Red Dead Online patch notes have a little something for everyone and several somethings for all the new Naturalists running around.

First up, anyone who logs into Red Dead Online before September 21 will receive a mix of free bonuses, including: 30% off a novice or promising Naturalist item, free sedative varmint cartridges, free legendary animal pheromones, 30% off a revolver, 2,000 Naturalist EXP, and a free ability card.

That ought to help you jump-start your Naturalist journey, and as an added bonus, new Naturalists will receive a free role accessory, outfit, or emote (note that or is doing some work there). Tranquilizing and sampling any animal will also get you the gila monster camp flag, clearing an animal sighting mission will get you the Farnholme double bandolier, and purchasing a wilderness camp will net you a free treasure map.

Now is a good time to become a Naturalist, basically, and doubly so because this week added two new legendary animals to track: the red streak coyote and midnight paw coyote. You'll find these rare canines at Pike's Basin cliffs and southeast of Strawberry, respectively, and if you can collect their pelts, you'll be able to redeem them for special coats at Gus' store.

It's not all Naturalist news this week, though. Bounty Hunters and Traders will get 50% more RDO$ on payouts, and you can save five gold bars on the butcher table and Bounty Hunter license. Bounty Hunter and Trade outfits, horses, weapon skins, and rifles will also be 30% off, along with bounty and hunting wagons.

You can view the full patch notes, including a list of new clothing items added to the Wheeler, Rawson & Co. catalog on Rockstar's website.
